FATSO JETSON - (Set time: 10:30 PM)
Set Times are Subject To Change

Often credited as one of the fathers of Desert Rock . Fatso Jetson incorporate a broad variety of musical influences that includes punk, blues, jazz and rock music. prone to experiment with many musical textures, angular instrumental epics, and dark scetched lyrics to create a punk, blues art rock all their own. In 1995, the group recorded their debut "Stinky Little Gods" and followed that up in 1997 with "Power of Three" -- both discs appeared on SST Records. The band then teamed up with Bongload Records(Beck) who then released their third full-length disc, "Toasted", in 1998. The album produced by Chris Goss (Masters of Reality.Queens of the Stone Age). The fourth LP was "Flames for All" in 2000 for Artist Frank Kozik's Mans Ruin Label . Fatso Jetson also contributed to highly regarded "The Desert Sessions" releases that Josh Homme (Kyuss,Queens of the Stone Age) . At these sessions Mario Lalli co-wrote two songs with Homme ("You think I aint worth a dollar but I feel like a Millionaire" and "Monster in the Parosol") these would eventually make their way on to the Queens of the Stone Age albums "Rated R" and "Songs for the Deaf" It was Homme's record label Rekords Rekords that would release the next Fatso album "Cruel and Delicious". the band is joined by Vince Meghrouni (Atomic Sherpas, Bazooka, Mike Watt, BellRays) on Sax and harp adding a new dimension to Fatso's hard to pin sound. Live the band blasts with energy, passion and urgency.

"Although squarely in the realm of desert rock, Fatso Jetson has more in common with Delta blues fashioned with matter from a neutron star than it does with the sun-baked cow punkery of fellow desert dwellers the Meat Puppets. On record, there are surfy, jangly elements that would fit snuggly in a Dick Dale instrumental. Live, the band unleashes mammoth riffs and maintain a dizzyingly high level of energy. Its performance is one of seasoned professionals: loose and adaptable, yet tight and immediate". - Magnet Magazine 2013
Mondo Generator - (Set time: 11:30 PM)
Mondo Generator
The brain of Nick Oliveri is sick. He is crazy and at times psychotic. He is not putting on an act..or trying to be 'bizarre.' Nick is the real deal. It's in the eyes…...

Mondo Generator is the creation of the demented mind of bassist Nick Oliveri. His achievements include:

* Played in KYUSS, from their inception up to Blues for the Red Sun
* Played in the Dwarves under the moniker 'Rex Everything', and had the honor of being kicked out for being 'too fucked up!' Yet, recently has been asked back for some recordings and shows.
* Played bass in the Queens of the Stone Age, and also sung some songs.

The list of players that Nick has assembled for Cocaine Rodeo is a complete who's-who of heavy rock, stoner rock, metal..whatever you wanna call it. Josh Homme (Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age, Desert Sessions): Plays guitar on many of the tracks. Brant Bjork (Fu Manchu,Kyuss, Desert Sessions): Plays drums on 3 tracks. Rob aka 'Up N Syder' (Karma to Burn): Plays drums on many of the tracks.

In fact, the tracks that feature the lineup of Nick, Josh and Brant (Tracks 1,7,10) are technically the very last Kyuss recordings! They are all written by Nick and (now the clincher!) ARE CURRENTLY PLAYED IN THE QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE LIVE SET!!!!

And if that hasn't sold you, '13th Floor ' (1st track) is also on the Queens of the Stone Age album Rated R released by Interscope Records! Of course, the version here is better!! Definitely raw and much heavier…without the major label gloss.

This is all fine and good, but what the hell does Mondo Generator sound like? Well, given the lineup, it's obviously brutal and punishing! Reference points are: Kyuss, Neurosis, Jesus Lizard, the Dwarves, and the Dead Boys. Very aggressive, very loud, very heavy!
The Freeks - (Set time: 9:30 PM)
The Freeks
The Freeks sophomore effort comes at you "Full On" and proudly proclaims, The Freeks are back for more! The Freeks return to the raw essentials of their punk rock roots and mix it with their stoner rock legacy to create a fresh blend of high-octane psychedelic punk rock'n'roll!

"This album can't be recommended enough. The spaced jams are free and tight. The punk jams are tight but loose. The whole thing is fun!" – Heavyplanet.net

The energy and spontaneity of The Freeks highly acclaimed live performance can be heard on Full On thanks to the fact that the core 7 tracks of the album were captured on the first take! The band has recently delivered their blistering live show alongside acts such as Mudhoney, Fu Manchu and Honky.

Full On was pre-funded and launched via Kickstarter through an ever growing "Loyal Order of The Freeks" fan base. Several college and web radio stations have featured Full On in its entirety, uncut and uninterrupted. In addition, the young album has been awarded with enthusiastic reviews from various heavy rock publications and blogs.

"'Full On' is a spectacular offering!" – Vincebus Eruptum

"The incendiary rock'n'roll of the Motor City Five + the burning attack of The Stooges have left a burning legacy that few bands have ever managed to equal. But – and this is a big "but" – The Freeks have taken the banner and produced an album full of passion and high-octane punk rock'n'roll that many bands have tried before but never with such results as this." – Black Insect Laughter

Led by Ruben Romano (founding member of FuManchu and Nebula) and supported by Hari Hassin on drums (Roadsaw), Tom Davies on bass (Nebula), Esteban Chavez on keys, and Jonathan Hall on guitar (Angry Samoans, Backbiter), the band has created an energized and timeless album in Full On that is crafting its own fiery and psychedelic legacy with every spin.

"VE readers know very well that the band of Ruben Romano (founding member of FuManchu and Nebula) is a favourite of this reviewer and I've been waiting for 'Full On' for a long time. I want to start saying that my expectations have been outdone." – Vincebus Eruptum

The Freeks were conceived in 2007 when Romano contacted a handful of talented friends from across the globe including Jack Endino, John McBain (Monster Magnet), Scott Reeder (Kyuss), Isaiah Mitchell (Earthless), Lorenzo Woodrose (Baby Woodrose) and the Purple Wizard of Woo, Bernie Worell (Parliament, Funkadelic, Talking Heads) and collaborated to contribute to Romano's musical ideas. Together, the freek alliance spawned a self-titled debut release supported by Cargo-Germany records.

Crawling out of a 3 year hibernation with new tunes, Romano has regrouped with his new band of Freeks and is delivering raw, unrefined, screaming fuzzed psychedelic rock'n'roll music that is dream bent with tension and laced with Full On passion.

The Freeks are:
Ruben Romano - Guitar and Lead Vocals. Founder and lead Freek of the band and former drummer for Nebula and Fu Manchu.
Jonathan Hall - Guitar and Lead Vocals. Hails from such notable bands as Backbiter and The Angry Samoans.
Tom Davies - Bass and Vocals. Former bassist of Nebula.
Esteban Chavez - Synths, organs, electric pianos.
Hari Hassin - Drums. Former drummer for Roadsaw, member of the Blue Man Group and notable singer.
Wild Eyes - (Set time: 8:30 PM)
Wild Eyes
Disaster! Blue Cheer kidnaps Tina Turner and ties her to the tracks of the Grand Funk Railroad. The Wild Eyes express bears down from San Francisco, wheels churning. In the tender, drummer Ben Richardson and bassist Carson Binks (Saviours) fuel the engine with syncopated clatter and incendiary rumble. Whirling riffs and searing, psychedelic solos by guitarist Chris Corona (Floating Goat, Hazzard's Cure) soar from the smokestack. Just before the crash, a soulful siren: singer Janiece Gonzalez, whose warning comes too late. Carnage! Then, from the wreckage – twisted metal, pulverized rock, burning soul – comes "Get Into It!" a new album on Who Can You Trust? records. Celebration! The Wild Eyes express thunders on!
